1984 - Foundation by two pharmacists Frank Sikkes and Wim Jennen.
1985 - Creation of the BORN Sportscare brand.
1986 - The foundation of Microz, then called Laboratory Born, was laid by two pharmacists who began developing and manufacturing nutritional supplements for the sports market.
1999 - Microz is born! Start of construction of Kampstraat 90, this was then one hall with one office space.
2002 - Expansion of the building with two high halls, one with a mezzanine floor so that there was more space for production facilities.
2002 - Expansion to Kampstraat 58, here comes a new warehouse.
2004 - Full use of Kampstraat 90 after the death of our founder Wim.
2006 - Purchase of Kampstraat 58.
2014 - Start of cooperation with Microz for externally complex orders.
2016 - Purchase of old warehouse Kampstraat 60, this is used by Microz.
2017 - First new building plans presented.
2018 - Commissioning of our first fully automatic machine at the capsuleer department.
2019 - Start-up of new Kampstraat 60 building after visit to Hercuton.
2020 - Appointment of Mareno as general manager and also the start of the realization of the new building.
2020 - New packaging line 8-lane installed.
2021 - Transition to an all-electric vehicle fleet.
2022 - Start of relocation to the new building location Kampstraat 60, commissioning of the new packaging line 12-lane & a second fully automatic machine.
2022 - Expansion of warehouse with new racking and sustainable modifications such as 600 solar panels and gas-free infrastructure.
2023 - Implementation of new potting line, we had to wait a long time for this due to Corona.
2024 - Scanners implemented in our warehouse and mixing plant.
Future - Plans are currently being made for further development of 90 Kamp Street.
